Or-5

I Watched another movie called Wrong Turn Two:Dead End it is pretty cool but really disturbing at the same time it is about A group of reality show contestants find themselves fighting for their survival against a family of hideously deformed inbred cannibals who plan to ruthlessly butcher them all. I would recommend this if your into a twisted movie.

i read a poem called AT THE END
He was so old his bones seemed to swim in his skin.
And when I took his hand to feel his pulse I felt myself drawn in.
It was as faint as the steps of a child padding across the floor in slippers,
and yet he was smiling.
I could almost hear a river running beneath his breath.
The water clear and cold and deep.
He was ready and willing to wade on in.
-Ed Meek
I think Ed Meek did good on this poem...it really touched me, i think this is about death and how it doesn't have to be a depressing death it can still be a pleasant one.

I am starting to read the book Twilight it is about Bella, who moves from sunny Phoenix to Forks, Washington, but the new school is the least of her troubles. She soon finds herself attracted to a mysterious boy who seems to be infuriated by her mere presence. Soon, however, the truth comes out and the two become inseparable so far.

I watched a movie called Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring...probably one of the best movies i ever seen it is about a land called middle earth and the story tells of the Suaron, who is seeking the ring. The Ring has found its way to Frodo. The fate of Middle-earth hangs in the balance as Frodo and eight companions form the Fellowship of the Ring, and journey the only place where the Ring can be destroyed. i would definitely recommend this movie.

Outside Reading #1
For my first outside reading blog assignment, I chose an article from the October, 2008 National Geographic magazine. The title of the article is listed as "Editor's Note". This article is about how the author grew up near the Pacific Crest National Scenic trail, which is in between California and Oregon. They also describe how they love growing up in the outdoors and being able to go for daily hikes throughout the woods with nothing but a backpack and a camera. Another thing they talk about is the benefits of going hiking, and how hiking would make our society such a better place to live in. They say it would promote exercise, help ease traffic congestion, and decrease pollution. I would have to say that I agree with their views on this. After all, it wouldn't hurt anything. But the thing i really I love about this article is the way they describe the scenery with so much detail, making it seem so majestic.
